From Monday, September 12. to Thursday, September 15. the Norwegian tall ship “Statsraad Lehmkuhl” was in port at Hammerhead pier, Yokohama. During its stay, Team Norway organized events for its stakeholders and Norway-related businesses in Japan
Maritime Seminars on Green Shipping, Offshore Wind and the Arctic
On the afternoon of September 13., Innovation Norway together with the NCCJ invited the maritime and energy industry for two seminars and a networking session at Yokohama Grand Intercontinental. Presentations were given on the future projections of green shipping, Norwegian solutions to aid Japan in its sustainability goals, and areas of mutual cooperation and benefits. NCCJ Members DNV, Navtor and Volue contributed to the program of speakers. Opening words to the seminar were conducted by the State Secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs Vidar Ulriksen and the ambassador from Norway to Japan H.E. Inga Nyhamar.
