NCCJ Members Meet Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs

On Tuesday September 27. 4 NCCJ member companies meet with Anniken Huitfeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place at Fuglen Tokyo in Shibuya with ambassador Inga Nyhamar, and NCCJ members Fuglen, Norwegian Icons, Volue and Sumisho Corvus. Over Fuglen coffee, the members of NCCJ had the opportunity to share their stories of coming to and operating in Japan, their successes, challenges, market trends, and plans for the future with the minister.
“We want to strengthen economic cooperation with Japan. As ocean and technology nations, we have good prerequisites for cooperation and trade that can contribute to value creation in the maritime sector, seafood, renewable energy, digitization, and creative industries”, says the foreign minister.

The NCCJ thanks minister Anniken Huitfeld and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for sitting down with our members to learn more about being a Norway-related company in Japan.
