This week NCCJ assisted in the facilitation of a travel seminar about the Norwegian Expedition Cruise company Hurtigruten held by representatives of International Cruise Marketing Ltd. (ICM) and Hurtigruten Japan at the Norwegian Embassy’s Aurora Hall. At the seminar, Hurtigruten’s exciting expedition tours to the most unexplored areas of the world were presented. In addition, special guest Prof. Masato Tanaka from Hokkaido University’s Arctic Research Center explained in depth about the Arctic region.
When asked about his impression of the day, Asia-Pacific Regional Sales Manager for Japan and Korea, Mr. Kengo Kuno, responded: “I was surprised that almost all of the participants already knew about Hurtigruten. Many of them showed great interest in our tours, and lined up to ask us questions even after the event was over.”
