【Event Report】NCCJ Partner SAYFR Signs MOU with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance

It was a pleasure to witness our Partner member SAYFR and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) signing the Loss Prevention Collaboration MoU at the Norwegian embassy in October. This agreement allows both parties to enhance their collaboration in loss prevention activities, positively influencing players in maritime and offshore energy industries by reducing the risk of major incidents and contributing to a sustainable future.

Tokyo based MSI is acting as marine underwriter for more than 120 years and one of world’s largest insurance group with strong credit ratings. Oslo based scale-up SAYFR helps organizations build an open and collaborative culture in a scalable and measurable way.

This is another great example of Norway’s innovative solutions in the maritime and offshore energy industries coupled with Japan’s presence and credibility in these sectors that together makes the world greener and more sustainable.

先月ノルウェー大使館にて、我々のパートナーメンバーであるセイファーと三井住友海上が、損害防止に向けた協業に関する覚書を締結致しました。この合意により、両社は海難防止における協力関係を強化し、重大事故のリスクを低減することによって海運・海洋エネルギー業界にプラスの影響を与え、持続可能な未来に貢献することが期待されます。
