It only takes two hands to save a life - Why learn CPR?
In Japan, about 200 people suddenly die of cardiac arrest outside the hospitals, every day. Globally, 3 million people die from cardiac arrest every year. The survival rate depends on how prepared we are. CPR can increase the chance of survival by two to three times.
The majority of cases happen at home or work. It may be your family member or your colleague. In such cases, it takes only two hands to save a life. By learning CPR you will know how to deal with these situations, as the first 10 minutes can mean the difference between life and death.
Two opportunities for the NCCJ community:
Our mission at Laerdal Medical is to help save lives. On the occasion of World Restart a Heart Day, we would like to offer you in the Japanese-Norwegian business community two opportunities to refresh your CPR skills
1) a CPR training and socializing event on October 13 at the Royal Norwegian Embassy (English/Japanese)
2) a short online CPR session on October 17 (Japanese).
1) CPR training and socializing event at the Royal Norwegian Embassy 13th of October
We will teach and go through proper CPR administration where you have the possibility to practice and get instant feedback on your skills. The practice session will be summed up with a fun CPR race where an exciting prize awaits the winners. The event will be concluded with food and drinks. あなたの両手で命を救うことができる - なぜ心肺蘇生法を学ぶのか？
日本では、毎日約200人が病院の外で突然、心停止で亡くなっています。世界では、毎年300万人が心停止で亡くなっています。その生存率は、私たちがどれだけ準備できているかで決まります。心肺蘇生をおこなうことで生存の可能性を2～3倍に高めることができます。
家庭や職場で起こるケースが大半を占めます。家族かもしれませんし、同僚かもしれません。そのような場合、あなたの両手で命を救うことができるのです。 最初の10分が生死を分けることもあるため、心肺蘇生法を学ぶことで、こうした状況にどう対処すればいいかがわかるようになります。
