About the Concept
What is Tie-in, Tie Off?
• A monthly benkyokai held the last Thursday of every month
• A short presentation, sometimes in Japanese, followed by Q&A and discussion (everything lasting around 1 hour)
• NCCJ Members Only
• Networking session after the event
About the Event
The NCCJ is excited to invite its members to the first physical event since February and the first physical edition of Tie-in, Tie Off!
AVR Japan are opening its doors for their fellow members for an evening of learning, VR/XR demonstrations and networking with drinks and snacks in their soon-to-be opened showroom at their offices in Shibakoen, Tokyo.
Before a presentation by Mr. Alexander Gorbenco, President and CEO of AVR explaining Extended Reality, our attendees will be given the opportunity to try out VR-goggles and experience for themselves the power and potential for XR/VR for multiple purposes. After the official program, there will be an hour allocated for free drinks, snacks and networking at AVR’s showroom.
The presentation and demonstration will be conducted in English, but there will be an opportunity to ask questions and ask for instructions in Japanese.

Please note: The NCCJ and AVR Japan take the official recommended COVID-19 guidelines seriously. For this reason, we require all participants to wear face masks, use the provided hand sanitisers and keep a 1 meter distance to other participants. More information on the precautions will be given to participants present at the event.

17:40 Showroom tour and XR experience session 60 minutes of hands-on XR experience in AVR Japan’s showroom.
18:40 AVR Japan company and services presentation 40 minutes orientation on AVR’s activities, who they can do it for, and what is possible with XR for industries.
19:20 Q&A session Questions and thoughts from guests.
19:30 End of event, start of networking 1 hour of networking in the showroom. Drinks and snacks.
