Cognite was founded in 2016 to meet the demands of industrial digitalization in Norway and officially opened an office in Japan last November as its headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region.
Nori Tokusue, President of Cognite Japan will introduce Cognite's business and the insights of digital transformation in industry. Then, Yoshi Hirabayashi and Ryotaro Ashida will talk about and demonstrate digital twin applications in industry.

About the Speaker
Nori Tokusue, President of Cognite Japan
日本IBMでキャリアをスタートし、主に欧米のIT企業の日本法人立ち上げのスペシャリスト。PeopleSoft、BusinessObjects, Fast Search , Pivotal Software 、Workdayの日本法人の初代社長/会長等を務めた。またこれまでに、PWC(PriceWaterhouse Consultants)の日本法人の取締役、マイクロソフト ジャパンの執行役、EMCジャパン(現DELL )の常務執行役等も務めている。スタンフォード大学大学院コンピュータサイエンス修士。
Nori runs Cognite's operations in Japan. He began his career at IBM Japan, served as both executive director and board member of PWC (PriceWaterhouse Consulting) Japan, and then as the first president of PeopleSoft Japan, which he successfully grew from one person to over 200 people in just five years. Nori was president of Fast Search and Transfer Japan until Microsoft acquired the company in 2008, after which he served as Executive Officer of Microsoft Japan in charge of enterprise search. Before coming to Cognite, he took care of Pivotal Software Japan’s start-up operations and then served as the first President of Workday Japan. Nori holds a Master of Science degree in computer science from Stanford University.
